Progressive Horizons Inc. is continually recruiting volunteers to work with the agency in various ways. Volunteers are a vital part of a team of caring people who are committed to help people and youth with special needs maximize their potential.

Volunteers enrich the lives of the men, women and children Progressive Horizons serves by working in partnership with staff and the community. Patient, caring, dedicated volunteers provide activities and attention that stimulate residents and bolster their self-esteem.

A volunteer can work a flexible schedule at our headquarters on Security Boulevard or can volunteer in one of 26 group home settings located throughout Baltimore county and city. Orientation, training and support are provided. As is the philosophy with our residents, volunteers are treated with respect and appreciation. Volunteers have screening and procedural requirements similar to staff.
